CPwc turned 1 year old...

Cpwc in action
Let  me tell you how it started...my version :)))

One afternoon as I was browsing the net,I saw in my notification Gina B.Nacion, whom I fondly call (Imay) added me in a group called Camalig's Pride (women's corner).I thought....hmmmmmm...this is nice!An exclusive group for women, and all Camaliguenas at that!My beloved hometown. There were a few members yet,so I took their photos and posted it on our wall. You see.a simple housewife like me,with three grown up sons has so much idle time.I added my lady friends and relatives who are from Camalig too.All of a sudden,as if my fingers had minds of their own, tapped the keys. When I looked down to read it,the words were these...
"Why don't we make this group worthwhile?Let's feed the needy children in our hometown.Just one meal,we can contribute small amounts, only according to our capacity.Anyway small amounts when combined can feed a small group of our less fortunate kids back home.Let's put smiles on their faces."
Without thinking,I posted it on our wall.stood up,left my laptop for a little while. When I got back,to my surprise a lot liked and commented,"Let's do it!"
     Ohhh my!What did I do?!I thought,what am I getting into!LOL!But a tiny voice told me..."Go...help will come your way...have faith."
True enough after a week or so,fellow members urged us to open a bank account for our group.Presto!Help poured like rain, from different parts of the world, all from loving, big hearted Camaliguenas. Some I do not even know personally.Indeed God is great! His grace never ceases to amaze me.You see,for more than three decades, not only did I meet again my favorite teacher in high school, she supported us from the very first sharing with all her love and devotion.Madam Aurora V. Banzuela, our group president.
As you all know today, our plan to feed a group of needy kids in Tagaytay, was followed with four more barangays namely;Salugan,Barayong Ilawod,Taladong and the most recent,in Sumlang.God blessed us more than we asked for.Not only did we share meals,we share gifts too.
I pray our good Lord Jesus Christ will continue to send more big hearted Camaliguenas, for us to spread His blessings.
     GOD bless CPwc!
